Be sure to checkout the long awaited church sign that was installed this week.  We are excited what God is doing at Agape and very thankful for congregational giving and His provisions.  Thanks also goes out to Todd, Heather, Gary, and many others for their work on the purchase, installation, and design of the sign.  Our desire is to add a computer controlled LED section just below the bottom of our moto to post our service times, message titles, and how one might notify us via phone and web-site.  Future fundraising and giving opportunities will be offered.

Freedom… a universal concern.  The concern for freedom is as old as the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve rebelled against God in a desire for freedom, only to find that their rebellion led to a life of enslavement.  As Adam and Eve quickly learned, real freedom from slavery can only be experienced by having a relationship with the one true God… who alone provides liberty.  Come checkout God’s message this Forth of July Celebration Service as Pastor Rich shares from 2 Peter 2:19.

Join us this week as Pastor Rich continues the series on the importance of possessing a Christ-Centered attitude of service to others.

When I am so focused on “me,” I can miss seeing God for who He really is and make Him into someone who is easy to walk away from.  If you have have ever had to decide to fight, to stay in your relationship with God even though you’re feeling not that into Him, you know it is not easy and it often requires a big change in us.  But what if you’re fighting and nothing’s happening. You’re working at the relationship, but you’re not getting anything in return. So what’s the problem? It may be that “ME” is getting in the way, that your focus is on you. And in the process, you have made God very small, boring and predictable—a God you think you know, but One who is actually so much bigger than us.

Can you recall ever being in a hopeless situation?  Maybe you are in one right now.  Hopelessness happens when you find yourself in a situation where there is no confident expectation for a positive outcome.

We want you to understand that hope can be found in the power of Jesus Christ.  Come discover how you might receive that power and escape the Baggage of hopelessness.
